HOMETOWN ZERO

Made for the GODOT Wild Jam #33.

As 9th Hour Films Games, we are proud to publish our first work, and participate in our first game jam. All of the sprites and most of the sounds/music were made during the GODOT Wild Jam period., as well as starting from scratch on a new GODOT project and scripts.

Note: All levels are beatable. There may be some boxes that are difficult to get to, and those are filled with cash to buy items for your room.

You play as a newcomer to a suburban town, only to find out that things lack meaning and coherence. You meet a "hero" who does favors for characters throughout the town. This hero has something special in his heart, and is going to great and amazing things. Unfortunately, he is scared and lacks motivation to do his work.

  • Talk to prairie dogs
  • Experience the drone bots
  • Buy posters and items for your room
  • Get Fiddy's Pick and Guitar

Possible bug in world 1-1: if a box is pushed all the way to the NPC with the microphone, there is no way to push it further or back, because talking has priority over pushing.

I can't figure out how to beat world 1-1

Hey, thanks for trying out the game!  We plan on recording some walk-through's soon.  We will post them to our 9th Hour Films Games itch.io homepage and announce on our Twitter once they are posted.
